A cheeky principal & a master of storytelling help a young indigenous boy uncover a world of reading.
Inspired by the work and impact of acclaimed author & performer Boori Monty Pryor comes this short film starring newcomer Khan-James Parker alongside Gold-Logie Award winning actor John Wood.
Produced by one-of-a-kind social enterprise Youthworx, I had the pleasure of composing some music for the film with with Alexander Sacchetta. I also directed and produced "The Making of Brown Paper Bag" - putting a spotlight on Boori and director Jon Staley as they share their inspirations the film.
